What is Hypnotherapy?
Hypnotherapy is for people who want to maximize their potential in life. Some people encounter some blocks due to developmental issues (e.g., childhood and transitional issues), cognitive and behavioral issues. Hypnotherapy uses regression, positive suggestions, guided visualizations, goal setting and metaphor to facilitate change. Hypnosis allows therapy to move faster, reliably and with more flexibility.
Who may benefit from Hypnotherapy?
Hypnosis is a well known and successful treatment for stopping habits such as smoking among others. What happens in a Hypnotherapy session?
We develop a treatment plan that will help you achieve the goals you want. Some of the techniques included in session may include but are not limited to: hypnosis, guided imagery, direct suggestions and regression.
How many sessions are needed?
Some problems such as smoking and weight loss typically required several sessions. Some other problems may need more sessions based on the client’s goals. Most people see improvement after one session; however, if there is no significant improvement, hypnotherapy should be reconsidered.
How long does it take?
Each session initially takes one and a half hours, to give time for the process and further discussion. If you need more than one session, the usual is to have one session per week. Each session has its own benefits independently.
